woke up at 6 this morning....gonna be a nice guy and go get biscuits for everybody.....got to the explorer and the dam window is busted out on the passengers side......i find a piece of my own agate inside....from my own little rock pile....sorry bas###rds...they used my own stuff to break in my car.
for some odd reason donna left her pocket book in the car last night.....of course they took it....checks bank card and all inside....wasnt gonna call the cops but i found other peoples credit cards in the yard next door.....that didnt live in the neighborhood.
i also found a box in the neighbors yard that i had in the car for jeremy (jurassic jonje) that had a piece in it that is kinda special to me from another member....glad the thief dropped it....or didnt want to look in it.
anyway....if i find anyone around my vehicles late at night...or on my property...i am going to shoot them....and ask questions later....i wouldnt have done that usually....normally there would just be a fight if needed...or i would give them a chance to runaway if they heard somebody coming.
after talking to the deputy this morning.....and making another call afterwards....i was told to try not to kill them....but to blow there knee caps off...or blow there shoulder off...maybe they will die later.
it may sound like im trying to get a thief in my yard....but i aint moving nothing off of my porch......i have my machines on the back porch....if they come and try to get it.....and i hear them....im gonna shoot them.
i hate a thief .......kev.

Hey Kev, Sorry to hear about the breakin, thats always a bummer.
Someone has been siphoning gas and diesel out of my vehicles out at the shop, last week we had to move an old heating oil tank and it was full of old old kerosene, smells just like diesel. I put 5 gallons of it in a jug and wrote diesel on it, and just left it out there at the shop in plain sight. I hope the thief steals it and puts it in his brand new pickup, sure to ruin an injector or two!!
Just remember, what goes around, comes around. They will get what they have coming in the end.

sorry to hear of your incident, Kev. and your own agate too, that just plain sucks.
we had a patch where kids were trashing mailboxes, they ain't cheap either. so finally, we got a friend of ours to build us a stainless steel one. i would have LOVED to be out there watching when that chump nailed it with his baseball bat and broke his friggin' wrist.
as Catman sez, what goes around comes around.

Sorry to hear about that! I hate them too!
a few years ago we were getting ready to head out for a weekend trip & got in the truck and they stole everything out of there - radio/cd player - hubby's wallet -credit cards etc - no cash though - which he always leaves in there *idiot!* AND he had left the doors unlocked - again! easy access - kids did the whole neighborhood that night - checked if the doors were locked and took what they could! *idiot didn,t lock the doors!* called the cops and they didn,t find "break in marks" of course not the doors were unlocked
a few weeks later they came back & got the other side of the street! - found tons of ID cards on the lawn - called everyone to pick them up
I hate thieves

Hey Kev, Gotta hope that SOB comes back for easy pickings I'd leave some valuables in sight to lure them in ... of course I'd check with law enforcement first to make sure what I was doing is legal.. It's a real sinking feeling when you have credit cards and ID stolen, anything financial or private. csroc

Man Kev, I hear what you're saying and we were robbed once and it does suck. However, it's wise to remember that usually when you shoot someone and don't kill them, they get a fancy lawyer and sucessfully sue your pants off. Of course that's here in Crazyfornia where you can't defend property, only your life when directly threatened.....Mel

Sorry to hear of your property and your rights being violated. I am from a small town in Montana where in the past few years we are now seeing the sort of riff-raff showing up that gets off on that sort of thing.--If it is this bad now, what will it be like when times get harder, for real? Vandals, thieves, abusers...These lovers of violence with little value for life itself will continue to permeate our society unless we return to some old-time values. There is a couple of old sayings I am fond of;
"The West Wasn't Won With A Registered Gun." And, "Shoot, Shovel and Shut up" (The 3 S's )

That rots Kev!!
You don't need to drag them into the house.Just keep a "drop gun" like the cops do and put it in their hand,,,then fire it!
I have one here for just that purpose.
Just a few months ago a mother and 2 daughters were beaten, rapped and killed and the father (a local doctor) beaten severley just 25 miles from me.
Parolees May Have Watched Girls Before Attack
New Details Suggest Pair May Have Planned Conn. Home Invasion July 26, 2007 As prosecutors consider filing capital murder charges against the two suspects in the deadly Connecticut home invasion that left a mother and her two daughters dead, new details have emerged about why the family may have been targeted in the first place.
Police said Wednesday they believe the pair accused in the brutal attack — Joshua Komisarjevsky, 26, and Steven Hayes, 44 — may have cooked up the plot after spotting the Petit sisters at a supermarket.
After seeing the two girls, Michaela, 11, and Haley, 17, the suspects then may have gone to a nearby store to purchase an air rifle and rope, police said.
Shortly after 3 a.m. Monday, their plot unfolded, police said, with the two breaking into the Cheshire home and terrorizing Michaela, Haley and their parents, William Petit and Jennifer Hawke-Petit, for six hours.
The attack included sexual assault, robbery and, ultimately, arson, according to police. Hawke-Petit, a 48-year-old school nurse, was dragged to a bank to withdraw a large sum of money. Bank officials called police, who responded to find the house ablaze.
The two suspects were arrested after ramming into multiple police cars as they tried to escape the scene in the Petits' car.
Inside the house, police found the mother and daughters dead. An initial medical examiner's report ruled that Hawke-Petit had been strangled and that her two daughters had died of smoke inhalation. William Petit, a prominent endocrinologist, escaped from the attack badly beaten, but alive.
New Haven state Attorney Michael Dearington, the prosecutor in the case, has said he will do a thorough investigation before deciding whether the two suspects should face a capital murder charge despite the public outrage the attack has sparked.
"I know the public consensus is they should be fried tomorrow," Dearington said Wednesday.
The criminal charges in Connecticut that carry the death penalty are: murder committed in the course of committing first-degree sexual assault, murder of a kidnapped person, murder of two or more people at the same time and murder of someone younger than 16 years of age.
If he owned a gun chances are this would not have happened.
By the way,,,the guys who did the killing were convicted felons,,,,
do ya think they had gun permits???

jeez, Tom, that makes just plain robbery sound pretty good in contrast! this just happened in my neck of the woods, thank goodness these guys had a brain and went back and saved the kid! www.wktv.com/news/local/25996119.htmltalk about convicted felons and pre-release!!!!!!!!! our local cops are eatin' donuts and sitting in speed traps waiting for the likes of eDog instead of pursuing outstanding warrants and real criminals. makes me sick! yaw ...we have a right to protect property here in georgia....i dont keep up with the new laws a lot....i knew it changed a few years ago....but didnt know for sure exactly how.....so a friend sent me this link today. www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2005_06/fulltext/sb396.htmhe told me i had a right to use deadly force....even if they were trying to steal or damage my trash can....told me to kill them if i want to. he said he would find a link from the local newspaper here......where a man shot a crack head in his yard trying to steal his laundry detergent from his shed....and send it to me also.....no charges were filed. i aint sure....but by reading the link....it says ..if found justifiable....no civil action can be brought against the shooter.....does that mean you cant be sued?. as of july 1st....georgians are allowed to open carry a weapon....does not have to be concealed...i didnt see much need for it.....unless ya wanted to look like a cop....maybe it could possibly deter something if someone seen it before hand. but maybe the story tom posted wouldnt have happened if someone was open carrying a weapon. anyway....i keep getting up glass ;D....i think i have it all up from the driveway....then i find more....i keep finding more glass everywhere i turn ;D....kev.

Kev, dosen't this sound like someone in your neighborhood? Like they were passing by, looked in , saw the handbag, and decided to bust the window. Do you have a lot of people walking through, or mostly local-only foot traffic?

Yee Haw Kev. Sounds like Georgia has passed one of the so called 'Castle Doctrine" laws. Good on Georgia state! Texas passed it too and that's one of the many reasons I'm moving there.....Mel

I wouldn't worry too much about getting convicted for defending your self, family, or property. Just insist on a trial by Jury, don't let the cops or DA talk you into a plea bargain. You can't find a jury of your peers anywhere in the US of A (even Crazyfornia) that would convict you of a crime when defending yourself

Idaho also passed the Castle Doctrine a few years back. Matter of fact the town of Green Leaf here in Idaho passed a city ordinance that residents who do not object on religious or other grounds to keep a gun in the home. Just to let you know this town is very close to Grave Yard Point! Don't steal any agates out of the yards or trespass in the area. LOL Here is the link to the new article: www.idahopress.com/articles/2006/11/16/news/news1.txt
