Hope ya'll aren't tired of 'em .....because I've got opals! Koroit Koroit... this one broke in two when I tried to polish it a bit too much, I guess the leather heat got it.... you can see the fault line. Koroit And the startled jasper Koroit.. kind of ugly, but strangely interesting.. Koroit... hard, black iron stone with the vivid blue in the middle... the camera sees more than the eye does... the eye sees just the black stone with the blue jumping out. Koroit Thanks, Tony

Those are a great gang there. I like the 3rd one, WOW. The kind of ugly one sure is interesting. There's so much going on and so many colors it draws me in......Nice cabs.

Tony you know me, I never tire of the B.Opal. Keep posting them. When life gets better I will makes some too. It looks like you have some what Beefjello termed "Cartoon Opal". It's weird looking stuff with little opal orbs. I managed to score a large piece of it and store it in my Clown Trigger fish tank. This way it will be safe until I cab again. Here is my Clown trigger guarding the stone:

Tony..... those are some really fine pieces of rock magic you have there! I find it difficult to work this kind because the sand parts won't shine as quick as the opal parts and it is tricky not to over work the opal trying to get the rest to shine. Got any hints to impart? T
