Howdy folks, Cleaned my last mixed lots from my last two tumblers before I pack them for the move to Texas. Sort of a mixed bag of leftovers. Here are a few pics and thanks for looking......Mel Mixed batch just finished prepolish: Some of my favorites, Jasper from the Mojave, Turritella and a strawberry jasper vein hunk: Last batch from polish: Some of the prettier Mojave Jasper pieces: Some other favorites: Poppy jasper from the ranch area, leopardskin, Rainbow Ridge, Botswana and Cady's moss:

Always a pleasure seeing your tumbles. Superb job, as per usual. Looks like that leopardskin turned out well for you, the one time I tried it, it ended up undercutting. The strawberry jasper in quartz is really neat, love all the little "seeds". I've got some of your PJ ready to move on to fine grind, here's hoping I can do it justice.
Have a good move, and get those tumblers set up again quickly!

If that is your pre-polish, these will be absolutely beautiful! Have a safe trip!

Nona: Nope, haven't found any Texas raptor rehab opportunities yet. There are some possibilities for docent work at the nature center or helping around the 3000 acre ranch our home is on. It's a cattle and game ranch with native and exotic game. On the other hand, I may just relax and enjoy nature from now on. After all, I've worked a lot of years and that would leave me a lot of time for rocks and fossils.....Mel
