Hi all. I was on vacation last week and managed to fit in some cabbing. OK it was more than just some cabbing. Here is part one. Bloodstone. I got this from Snowdog last year and this was the first piece I got around to cabbing. It is a bit pitty at the top so I may redo this one. Crazy lace. A friend of mine was out in California and wanted to bring me back some rocks. Stoner was nice enough to entertain her for a while and then give her some very fine slabs. This is from one of them. It has a druzy pocket in the lower left. Dino bone. I got this at my local rock shop in the $4 a pound bin. Quite a steal in my opinion. Its a little pitty right in the middle but didn't undercut much. This is a fav of mine and will go into my collection. Green tree agate. Labrodorite. Also from the $4 a pound bin. I got 3 fairly nice pieces of this material. Its a bit fractured so the cabs will be smaller but they have pretty good flash. Leopardskin jasper. One of my favorite materials. Always seems to be a hit. Leopardskin jasper. Noreena jasper. I got this piece from weeshan, its the only noreena I have but a crack appeared while I was polishing. It must be more heat sensitive then most rocks I work since I've never had this happen before. Ocean jasper. This was sold as tumbling material but there were a few pieces big enough to cab.

Super group, Tony. I have to say the dino is the one that really gets me, but some many others do too...the leopard skin and the noreena among them! T

Vacation time well spent! Your cabs are fantastic Tony! Lots of favorites in there...but that Dino is tops! the Crazy Lace is running right behind. I love those colors in that piece. Steve

You could be in vacation, but your cabbing skill is definetely not! Great cabs, both here and in the other thread of yours!
