Hi all, new guy on this board, (actually joined in May, lost password, got busy, yadayada). I make silver jewelry and do craft shows and cut/polish about half the stones I sell, buy the rest in various stages. The camera is down so for now I'll be "oo-ing and ahh-ing" over ya'lls work and doing a lotta wishing. A new camera is high on my list, hard to deal with the 'net without one! Hope you all have a good rockin' day.

A big welcome from Idaho! I'm new here also and have found that this is one of the best rock forums around and easiest to navigate. What kind of stones do you polish?

Rockdude - welcome to the board...This is a great place to find tips and trips for anything related to rocks. When I started tumbling 2years ago, I really did not know much, but over the last few months after posting help messages, I was literally rescued with great insights and helps. I hope your experience is like mine.
BTW -- do you tumble or slab? Let me know I'm starting a traveling slab box soon, and If you would like to join, it is still open.
