This is one of my favorite trees, Dreams of Alexander. The wire is 28 gauge galvanized steel. The leaves and tumbles are carnelian. The colt is Bucephalus, dreaming of his future life with Alexander and has been created from Sculpey polymere clay. The bowl I created from a kettle gourd. Sorry the image is kinda big. Eileen

I'm not a fan of the trees when I see them in the stores, but yours are something diferent! You really know to make them look so natural!
Adrian
PS. I visited your site - the address you posted somewhere in another thread - and that wind-blown willow tree is a masterpiece!

That looks like a real tree, too cool! That's another thing on my "learn how to do" list.

I have to agree with Adrian, I usually don't like the trees when I see them but yours are so much nicer than what is usually out there. Beautiful work! Fran

Thank-you! I do a have a few trees that are more "fantasy-like" (black wire and Amazonite), but I prefer to make them look like real trees. I love trees. Especially oaks and rowans.

Thanks!
Oh, and for you guys who like the wind blown trees, you've inspired me to try something new. I'm working on a wind-blown gemstone tree. Red aventurine. Cross your fingers that it comes out okay 'cause I've not done something like this before.
