This probably will not be much help but try Sears and look at vacumn cleaner belts. While you are there hit the parts dept. and tell them the size of the belt. They might be able to match it up with a belt from another product. Just a thought

You might be able to find a v-belt through an auto or hardware. If you have a model try a Sears parts outlet. If nothing else they might know who made the tumbler for them (they don't make anything).

Can you move the motor to make a Lortone belt fit? You may be able to put an idler pulley in to take up the slack? You can try to find a little bigger pulley too but that would change the speed slightly? You may have changed the speed already by using a different barrel. Is the barrel you are using the same diameter as the old one? As a last ditch effort you may be able to find an "O" ring that will fit.The problem there is that they wear out fairly fast unless you can get one made of the more durable material such as the ones Thumler's Tumblers supply. I'm thinking out loud here ,,,,,,, I think moving the motor would be best as you can always buy the Lortone belts? ?? If you choose to move the motor and need help just ask,I LOVE doing things like that. connrock

thanks for all of your input !! i am back rolling . i ended up at a sewing machine repair shop (shed )he matched me up with a perfect fit belt & we had it back together & running in 10 minutes . so if anyone else has belt or other problems you might want to try your local sewingmachine repair man .

I started out with the same model tumbler! I had a hole wear throught the original drum liner in the back and patched it with a piece of conveyor belt material and rubber cement. Ran for another 2 years-CONSTANTLY- before it literally fell apart. The housing rusted, the bearings split and the clips that hold the shafts in place fell off. I must have tumbled 1,000# of rocks in it though! I still have the parts out in the shed somewhere.
