Fishenman, if that is the pink moss that I pm'd you about, afterwards, I googled pink moss agate to see if I could find more. There are a couple of sites that I bet might be able to tell you the location if you e mail them. This link looks good. Actually after I found this site, I hopped back on RTH and read a post praising this company. Looks like they get their pink moss from India. So that's where it's been. The location it's from is my backyard. I lost it over thirty years ago. You can send it back now.

It's not the same moss as the pink stuff. This is more fuzzy and fat moss. Thanks for the link, I'd like to see a piece of that agate. It can be difficult to find the sources of older rocks, I may need seek an id from the lapidary retirement home ;D
