That first knot looks as if someone carved inside the stone and then it sealed over. The glare actually adds to this effect. They are very beautiful!

Curt, I love these knots!! They all have such an interesting pattern. Where in the world are you finding all these knots? Is there some kind of knot store out there? Or do pet wood hunters find them and toss them into the "knot this one" pile, separate from the keepers T
