I just scored 10 pounds of Morrisonite pieces and hopefully next week they will be able to go into my tumbler. I'm quite excited to see how these turn out as this is my favorite material. This will also probably be the most expensive tumble I ever do as all of my other material is self collected. Jason

That's some nice lookin' rough Jason!
Good luck with it!
Many ,,,,,,I MEAN M A N Y moons ago when I was newer then a newbie I bought a LOT of morrisonite,,,,maybe 40-50 lbs of cutting material.Of course I didn't know the difference between cutting and tumbling material so I smashed it all up,tumbled it and gave it all away!!!!!!
If that weren't bad enough I bought more and did the same thing!!!
As time went on I found the price of Morrisonite going higher and higher. The material I smashed up is now going for over 100 bucks a pound!!!
I think I have a couple of the tumbled pieces laying around here somewhere but I try to avoid them!

I hear you on some of the prices people have on some of this material. I'm actually lucky that the mines were only about 60 miles from my house so there is a lot of it here and at somewhat reasonable prices.
Matter of fact the guy I bought this from has about 1 ton sitting in a pile on his property my jaw hit the ground when I saw that.

Wow! Who did you get this from? I would like to go purchase some of it. Maybe we could trade some materials after I get back from Hampton Butte.

I should be able to put these in the tumbler either this weekend or next depending on how my current batches are going.
"John" I will be more than willing to trade when you get back. I'm still disappointed that I'm not able to go to hampton with you guys.
