Don, Once again...you've proven that you're most definitely..'The King of Tumbling'! ;D Those are some gorgeous stones...I love em'! You may post a Drool Warning for some of the newcomers. I already come prepared when opening up any of your tumbling threads. I've got some of that material...and the name is on the tip of my tongue...but for the life of me...I can't think of it My mind has been distracted by some awesome Tumbles! Steve

Do you ever get a bad tumble? No, I didn't think so. I have seen that material sold as "Black Feather Plume" and it was from Wyoming.

Those are awsome! I have been having problems with the pitting and undercutting on my plumey tumbles. These are just great! Fran

Utterly Mind Blowing Don!
A really contrasting plume like that is just a joy to see tumbled. That's an A grade job!
I can't see any fractures and flaws, did you hammer 'em or were they convenient chunks anyway? So many of my Agate batches have those tricky fractures, your tumble batches are always an inspiration. Thanks Don!
Cheers Sir,
Sparkles.

Thanks again for the kind words everyone.
Sparkles, these came from a single chunk that I broke up with a hammer and chisel. You are right that they don't seem to have fractures.... I'm not really sure why that is. Sometimes a fairly opaque agate like this can hide fractures, but that doesn't seem to be what's going on here. Lucky breaks, I guess. -Don

Fantastic batch Don! Medicine bow often does undercut badly, even when cabbed, so you started with an awesome batch of rough plume too. First time I've ever seen that material tumbled and you did an awesome job......Mel
