Quite some time ago, there was an online retailer who had real good prices on vibe tumblers, but I can't remember their name. As I recall, they carry mainly guns and outdoors stuff. Anyone recall it or possibly have a link?

Be careful of vibe from a firearm seller. They are for polishing brass (empty firearm shells), using dry (often corncob or walnut shell) media. They motors and and more importantly the bowls do not hold up to rock polishing.

I think you're thinking of LockStock.com - only it wasn't Vibe tumblers.
My other guess would be Cabellas. They do carry the rock versions of them as well as the reloading versions.

Yep, it was LockStock! TY. Looks like they've discontinued selling them, though. Oh well.
I looked at The Rock Shed, but their prices are very high.
I'm aware of the differencebetween wet and dry vibe tumblers. I made that mistake before.
So, anyway, as far as vibe tumblers, are thumlers the best ones or are there better ones for the price? I'd like to keep the price down, preferably under $150.

YEs. LockStock. I recognize the name now. Didn't they have a great price on Model B too?

I was one of the members who recommended LockStock but it was for the 15# Thumler's Rotary. When in stock, this is the best price I found anywhere.
As far as vibes - I have more than one but my favorite is the Thumler's 10# which I got for a great price on eBay. Haven't seen the price repeated there since.
When getting the Thumler's Vibe it is important to make certain it is the heavy duty model which is safe for rock tumbling.

Thanks all! I just want to get my feet wet with it. Even with only small capacity, if it can churn-out a batch every week or so, then it'll be plenty for my needs, at least to get started.
I'll go ahead and see what johnsgems can do for me.
