I wasn't sure where to post these so here goes. The picture doesn't do it justice but they look pretty nice and they have a great shine. I didn't see the agate looking areas very well until I sanded them down. They seemed to get darker as I went. I almost threw them out. I am glad I didn't now. Fran

Fran, did you sand and polish the other sides of the Geodes also? They look great but I am certain that they look even better in person. I love Geodes and looking at the vugs under a loop.

Did you find the geodes? Geodes and thunder eggs are by far my favorite rocks because it's like Christmas every time you cut one.

I left the backs rough. My husband reminded me that we bought them at Riverbend park at the nature center here. I am not sure where they came from originally. Fran
