It is actually for sale.
If interested please pm me for prices.
Bruce the miner said back in his prime he had 18 slab saws going at all times. He also had some specialized automated cab machines made in Germany and he was producing over a 1000 calibrated cabs a day..

Over 2000 RTH'rs jaws just dropped onto their keyboards! Not only for the great wildhorse...but the image of 18 saws & the precision machines from Germany spitting out little cabs like ju ju bees....LOL.

How close are you to Succor Creek State Natural Area? I will be there for a few days later this month. Maybe I could stop by to get a few pieces,

I'm about 50 miles from Succor Creek. If you will be here on Saturday the 20th we are going to our clubs thunder egg claim not far from Succor Creek and you would be more than welcome to join. Just let me know when you will be in the area and there should be no problems with you picking up some Jasper.
If you would like contact me through my website just click the link in my signature.

I'm traveling on Thur 18th and will be there 19-20-21 with the Salem (WAMS) club. The plan is to do Rocky Butte and Wildhorse and another Owyhee claim on Friday, then Graveyard Point on Sat, and thundereggs on Sunday. Sun evening I will be traveling to McDermott for more thundereggs and Gary Green on Monday.
I'll send an email. Maybe one evening some of us can go see the jasper.

1rockhound (Jason) put me in toutch with this guy.
I talked to the guy with the rockpile today. I hope to visit on Sat evening. He said he had Owyhee and Painted Desert. I would not mind a few dozen pounds of each.
If I get some nice pieces I'll post pics next week.

When I saw the first pic that song started going through my head... "If I had a hammer...I'd hammer in the morning...I'd hammer in the evening...all over this land..." LOL

Looks like some nice stuff indeed. I've tumbled some of those picture jaspers, they take a nice shine, and I love the blues in them. -Don

Well I got about 16lbs of the Owyhee and another 15 more lbs of something Called Painted Desert. The piles were about half the size in the photo because at least 2 local clubs have been by this summer.
Photos later in the week.
