My newest batch out of the tumbler is tiger eye, I had to take two pictures because my mother already went through the batch. The first pic is what she left me. These are the ones my mother choose. Tami

Nice job! Your tiger eye is much more varied in its coloration than the tiger eye I usually tumble. Any tricks or anything unusual about the tumble? P.S. You are good to your mother.

The trick is finding the varied color tiger eye to start with. I got mine at a place called Ebersole's in Wichita, KS. This is one of the few items that is only 50% not 75% off the regular price. Tami

Those are quite beautiful. I especially love the dark Tiger Eye. It certainly is a very choice batch.

Tiger's Eye always catches my eye! It's such a beautiful stone, one which looks almost as tempting in the rough as it does after the magic of tumbling. You've done a lovely job on these, they have a great shine, and the variety of colours is outstanding. I have a gorgeous chunk of the really dark orangey coloured type just waiting for me to get my tumblers rolling again.
I've heard the dark blue version referred to as Hawk's Eye on occasion, and it takes a real talent to get those patterns to show brightly. Fabulous Batch! Thanks for sharing your tumbles, I always enjoy seeing shiney Tiger's Eye, you've left me with a big smile.
Cheers,
Sparkles.

Fran, my mother does not wire wrap, if she wants something wire wrapped she asks me to do it for her. Sparkles, I too have heard the Blue tiger eye being called Hawk's Eye. I have always gotten great results when I tumble Tiger Eye. There are a couple of pieces that on the ends really show the hematite in them. I was careful in choosing the tumble size pieces out of the boxes they had. Tami
