Well, I finally pulled the Jasper's. I have had them in the polish for a week. I could have left them longer but I was afraid some would chip (some did). the barrel started making a little different noise. Some clinking inside so I thought it was best to pull now instead of being sorry later. I have not burnished them yet but overall, they look good. Here is a group photo: Desert Jasper: Fancy and Red Jasper: Picture Jasper. These could have used a little more time in the polish: And a few Leoperd Skin: Thanks for looking, Fran

They look great. The polish you got on your picture jasper might be the best it can get. Picture jasper varies that way. Some of them take a high, high gloss...and some of them come out satin. The desert jasper is interesting.

That is a really nice batch of Jaspers. You even got a shine on the Leopard Skin. I have never been able to do that.

That is such a pretty batch of tumbles with the shine and different colors. I love the leopard Skin I personally call it the happy stone because of the colorful and playful patterns.

Great batch. I am especially impressed with the Leopard Skin........since its technically not a jasper, but a rhyolite, it can undercut and doesnt always take a good shine. Great job!

Beautiful pebbles, great variety! I like the Picture and the Leopard mostly, but the Desert are also eye-catching. Very nice, smooth shapes on all of them!

Excellent batch of stones! I'm also impressed by the shine on the leopardskin, but my faves are the desert jasper. -Don

Great mixed batch of jaspers! Very nice job. I've currently got a batch of ocean jasper in coarse #6 and a mix of red and dessert jasper in coarse #2. I hope they come out as good as yours!

Fran, you picked up on something that only seasoned tumbling folk know by heart. That change in the sound the tumbling rocks made is the difference between the sound that matte smooth rocks make tumbling over each other and shiney rocks make when they are just about done.
