After running 18 hour`s had to open it up, sounded like the slurry was to thin, it was i added 20 Lbs more of rock and some whole baby Brazilian agate`s, and 10 Lbs. ceramics, And top it off with 3 pounds of 40/70 and a second box of baking soda. The Baking soda is to raise the PH of the water to keep rusting down, And gas`s. Oh if you think a tumbler dos`t gas up, Think what happen when two piece`s of Silicate hit together and make a spark ( Ozone Gas ) After running for 18 Hour`s the seal on the hatch bled off, as for the design to keep from Too the Barrel ! I WAS REALLY WAITING FOR OTHER`S TO SEE THIS AS I TRY NOT TO BE THE FORUM SMART DONKEY. ON THE FORUM. Jack

Jack, Baking soda will increase the gassing off. Use something that has calcium carbonate instead. Calcium carbonate will also increase the KH and pH of the water. You can throw in some crushed coral or any marble stone, like Picasso or zebra. I knows dis 'cause I keep planted fish tanks and have done CO2 injection. You *have* to know this stuff or you kill yer fishies

Jack; Their seem`s to be a lot of people addicted to rock in the U.S. of A, So I`m betting that i can sale it on my web-site.
wish i had a taller barrel`s to run.
the best barrel`s have a Diameter 6 x the width, like a 6 ft. diameter with a width of 1 ft. this way the tear drop of the rock rolling down the slope have a full run of the circumference of the barrel, this way the material has more action in the time of each full turn of the RPM in a hour. The one in the photo is 24" x 10". and a RPM of 16.5 / And the Octagon is 2/3rd full.
the Holley blue sell`s well and the Bruneau jasper should leave in a hurry, though the Montana moss I`m running to zone it to cut the best areas out of it.
