We went there today -- it's about 200 miles each direction but fairly fast. This was the second year we went out to the dig and this year we did much better in finding mozarkite with the coveted red coloring. The owner pretty much gives away all the rest of it for like 10 cents a pound. I was after some nice sized garden type rocks so this worked out well. The guy with the flatbed full of rocks where you can fill a small bucket for $10 and big one for $20 was also there, and this time he had a lot of nice wood, expecially Farson WY and Oregon. We returned with a whole bunch of rocks that I get to hit with the hose tomorrow. Can't wait to see what's under the dust on those big mozarkite rocks. The vendors had some really nice stuff, too, only we didn't have time to really take it all in.
We also found out that Fairburn gets carsick.
