Here is the Owyhee and Painted Desert picture jaspers I got this weekend. I thought I had about 15lbs each of Owyhee and Painted Desert, but it is more like 10lbs Owyhee and 23 lbs of Painted Desert: Owyhee: I was pleased to get multiple chips that had the classic dark blue sky scene, and some will give two slabs: ... but I also got some of the patterned pieces. Here is a brown/blue pattern in a 4" long rock and a 6" long wedge with a nice scene, and my best score a 2.5lb chunk with nice hills and dark blue sky The Painted Desert was available in bigger pieces. Some have blue sky and some are brown hills against shades of green: No dark blue sky like Owyhee, but some very nice scenes:

Very nice pictural material! I bet you already have some virtual cabs from this material The slab in the first pic (upper right part) with "bushes" in the foreground and "hills" in the background is my favorite. Adrian

Beautiful work, Daniel! My favorite is the eagle on the sky (the third one in the first row). The big oval in the left has a portrait (profile), but it has to be rotated a litle clockwise.

very nice looking cabs, but how do you tell the difference between these and succor creek?

succor creek often has a purplish cast, and a wispy coloring that almost looks like smoke over the hills.
these are more green & blue, and the fine brown squiggly hills in the green is fairly distinct
