My sister in law is a breast cancer survivor and every year she helps out with a local cancer awareness group's annual walk for cancer to raise money. This year I made this ribbon out of some nice pink Rhodonite and donated it for their auction. I talked to her this morning and she said it was a big hit and brought in the most money out of everything they had up for auction. I've got requests for 3 additional ribbons. Some of you long time members may remember the last one I did out of Rhodocrosite for a member of the board, "NorocksinLouisanna", to give to his friend. I still think about him and wonder if his son still visits our board. Here's the ribbon. I mounted a brooch pin on the back.
