Hi everyone this is my 1st contest . it is going to be a long one ,three months . officially starting Oct 1st through Dec .31 but results could take a little while longer . Who can enter ? any one that is a RTH member , before Dec 24 2008 ( because that is the last day to guess or change your guess . Who can NOT win ? anyone who wins any other contest on this section of RTH board . that is why i called it LUCKY LOSER CONTEST . how to win ? try to guess how many contests happen in this 3 month period muliplied by the most times any poster wins a contest in this period . example : 10 contests and no poster wins more than once 10 x 1 = 10 . or 15 contests and one person wins 4 times 15 x 4 =60 . What you win ? FRB of assorted rocks that i collect in next 3 months most will be from rocks that i buy some will be from what i already have ,i just don't have them picked out yet . this contest does NOT count in total because it started before Oct . and we won't know who wins till after Dec. the contest results will be known when the last contest that starts in 2008 ends ,that might not be till Jan 2009 . i know it sounds complicated but i think it will be fun & hopefully it will cause us to have a lot of contests : remember the more contests the higher the # . if no one guesses right on , the closest wins . you can change guesses but only your last one counts . in case of tie 1st person who picks it wins . My guess is 10.
Two questions:
1. What would happen if the person who does the correct guess is also a winner of one of the other future contests?
2. May we change the guess?

Rockrookie, thanks for the contest. This is going to be a marathon. lol.
If I'm reading the rules correctly, anyone now can enter but are eliminated if they win a future contest. So....
My initial guess will be 18.
If I'm wrong then ignore my guess.
Ooooh this is going to be fun!

Adrian , if anyone wins any other RTH contest in this section during this time period their guess does NOT count , Because they are no longer a loser. also you can change your guess up to Dec 24 but not Dec 25 or later (that is deadline for changes or any new guesses ) PEASE if you change guess could you please mention that when you change ,so it makes it easier to keep track ..THANKYOU ALL for playing along ,i really hope this is afun contest !!paul
