Yes, all of you!
But today I am referring especially at two of you: Liz and Daniel.
These days a rock avalanche came over me. How else should I call the huge amount of rocks that "hit" me lately from all directions?
I just returned from Belgrade (with all my rocks that I picked from there and received from Zoran) and I had to go to the post office.
There were not one, but TWO packs waiting for me!
One is from Liz (181lizard) who sent me some cool pet woods. The colors are outstanding, there seem to be some blueish areas in some of them and also there's a green one.
I might had pictured the rocks wet, the colors are outstanding, believe me! And Liz also sent me a gorgeous slab of Morrissonite with the deepest green I've ever seen, and a piece of Tahoma jasper!
The other one is from Daniel (deb). He won a contest of mine a few months ago, having a piece of pet wood as a prize. I asked him if that wouldn't be a good opportunity to make a trade and he said OK, so I threw in the box some more rocks.
But what he sent me in return exceeds by far what I gave him! Look at the variety of rocks: Pet wood of all sorts and sizes (notice those huge slabs- the round one in the upper left corner is 8 inches diameter), thunder eggs, picture jaspers, dino bone, coral, some crazy laces, night-star picture jasper, some ? (owyhee maybe), some mahogany obsidian, some Biggs or Deschutes, Polka dot, Gary green, and some Pietersite and Royal Sahara Jasper (stuck on the cardboard). And I'm not sure my list is complete.
Here's the group shot:
And some close-ups:
The grain of this piece is outstanding! You could swear it's real wood!
Thank you all for looking and THANK YOU Liz and Daniel for your kindness and overwhelming generosity!
Adrian
