just wanted to let everyone know that our new cedar city rock club has a field trip planned for this Sat. Oct. 4th to go collect some pretty mocha colored common opal in the mud mountains in the cedar city, ut. area. we are all meeting at the maverick gas station by the bowling alley in enoch at 9 am. anyone is welcome to join in the collecting. we will be going to 2 locations to collect this material. the first location is rated to be easy to collect from. the material is just off the highway and no strenuous digging is required. the second location will require some digging and breaking of rock to get the material. so please join us!!!! thanks so much and e mail me or pm me if you have any questions.....
