The motion has to be in the Y-Z axis plane to get rolling around the horonzontal axis - like the Lot-O - counterweight on back rotates clockwise from top to bottom.

The motion of the Gy-ROc is in the Y-X axis plane and there is circular motion around the bowl, but also rolling over, but I think the rolover is secondary to the circular motion. counterweight rotates clockwise from side to side.

But with only 2 choices, possibly you could righ a prototype to test the circulation you get with orientation of the counterweight.

the lot-o has off-center-weights in wheels that rotate in y-z, and gy-roc has off-center-weight that spins in x-y plane beloe bowl
