To make a long story short ... a woman came to my house today with one of my somewhat regular customers, wanting some of my Chrysocolla. I led her to the crates, she picked out some chunks, then asked me to follow her to her car. In the trunk were two plastic totes full of tumbling rough, and she offered to give me both totes for the Chrysocolla she'd picked-out. It seemed fair to me, so I agreed, took the totes, and she was on her merry way.
When I hosed it down to have a look, I realized that I'd gotten the better end of the deal, by FAR. All sorts of agates, jaspers, obsidian, crystals, pet wood, etc. REAL nice. Then it hit me ... now what in the hell am I going to do with all of this???
I guess that I'll just sell it here on the forum, since it's nice stuff and people here would appreciate it and use it. I'm thinking 20 pounds for $35, shipping included, and I'll throw in a few free pounds of Chrysocolla. Is that a good deal for the buyers? I think it is, but I've never sold material like this before.

Sizes are mostly an inch to two inches, some are in the 3" range. You could get cabs out of almost all of the pieces, if you wanted to. Unfortunately, I know very little about identifying particular species, so I'd be a fool to even guess. If I decide to go ahead and sell them here, I suppose the pics should be enough to allow buyers to make an informed decision.
If I have time, I'll play with the idea tomorrow and see what I want to do. It's getting late here and it's time for this body to crash. Thanks for the advice!

I would be interested in a box at that price. Send me a PM with your name and address and I'll mail you a check (or money order if you prefer).

Ooops ... I put four lots up for sale, thinking I'd give a little better deal and sell it for $30 ... but I made a typo and my ads had read $40 ... eeek!!! For a whole day people read my messed-up ads. They're corrected now.
Anyway, it's really nice stuff, each piece hand-picked, and I know you'll love it. Great deal for under a buck a pound.
