Okay - picture time! About a 100 mile trip up to Big Sur for us but a beautiful drive and lotsa sweet jades!! Some highlights from Friday at the Big Sur Jade Festival, 2008. Pacific Valley, CA. Huge, 200+ lb slab of polished jade: Biiiiiig vulcan jade: Gorgeous green & blue the size of a dinner plate: Beautiful patterns: Tony's Turtle! This is Tony's (owner of the Pacific Jade forum) 130 lb slab that he worked on the polish for 4 YEARS!!!! Many boytroidal specimens, too! One of the two biggest slabs I saw - this was almost 3 feet long! Another Vulcan jade - amazing color: Incredible alabaster vase..... Another amazing slab: Some pet wood, too! Even some crystals, geodes and fossils: More than 50 photos in the album if you want more! Big Sur Jade Festival Photo AlbumHope you enjoyed - I did! Nancy

That surely is some gorgeous JADE! I love all the play in colors that the sun reflects off those pieces. I could only imagine what it must look like in person. Well.....actually I know what it's like to have a nice polished piece of Jade thanks to Tony! Thanks for sharing some pictrues Nancy. Steve
