Gorgeous virtual cabs. It's strange - 1st pic, second row, second stone actually looks like pic jasper!

any stone I choose over another usually has some "landscape" potential so it is not surprising you are reminded of pic jasper.
It starts with looking for a horizon line, than some hills or clouds ... or maybe that's where it ends up and it really starts with me shifting hundreds of pounds of rough from one side of a bin to the other, toutching, turning, ...

In this case, it's the coloration that really reminded me of it. The greenish/brown of the land against the blue sky. I'm used to polka dot being more like all the other virtual cabs you have shown rather than that one.

These are beautiful. Is it a special program that creates virtual cabs?

These are beautiful. Is it a special program that creates virtual cabs? I just photoshop a scan or photo. SOmetimes look at the rock to make sure the size of th ecab is realistic, or include a ruler in the scan. When I make a selection, I choose the feather option to give the edges a rounded effect.

That trapezoidal virtual cab in the second row looks like a meteorite right before the impact. It even has a white glow behind it, like a small comet. Amazing!

That's some nice rough, and you've highlighted some nice scenes, but I gotta say I'm surprised there's no glacier scenes in your virtual cabs, 'cuz advancing glaciers is the first thing I think of when looking at the last row of rough. -Don
