Hello,
I am leavin for vacation on thurs, got a 10 hr. drive. Will they make it up to 12 hrs. not rollin just sitten till i get to my destination. I will be gone for 20 days and couldn't see them just sittin idle so they are comin with.

Just set them on end (the flat side)so they don't solid up on one side (the rounded part). That way if it gets a little thick on the flat side it will stay balanced and come loose when you start back up. I have left mine for a couple of weeks with no problems that way.

If you're really worried.....When driving long distances, you really should get out and walk 5 minutes or so every couple hours.....take the drum with and roll it.

It's probably best to do what Scott said, but I have left mine just sitting on its side on the tumbler with it off for a couple of weeks with no problems either. When we returned, I just shook the barrel by hand until it sounded like everything was loose.
