i've been purposely avoiding eBay, but every now and then i peek. i really thought i'd be outbid on this one, so imagine my surprise when i got the "you've won" email! ;D ;D ;D this is a 10 pound lot of slabs that i got for $36.00 plus shipping. i don't know what half of it all is, so please chime in with an ID if you have one. (apologies for being pic heavy, i'm just so happy! ) don't know for sure what these first two are: but here is a close up of the one on the left: don't know what this blue stuff is either: or this: this might be Morrisonite? end cut: porcelain jasper: don't know: this is almost like pietersite, it's chatoyant: don't know: chrysocolla: not sure: might be pet wood? leopardskin jasper: don't know: a close up: speaking of pietersite, here is a whopping huge piece: closeup: i know this is some kind of jasper...rocky butte? close up: another i don't know: and yet another i don't know: another chrysolcolla? big thick piece: and a close up: more i don't know, orbicular tho: conglomerate of some sort: kambaba jasper: a nice slice of ocean jasper: don't know: montana agate: more don't know: close up: fluorite: not sure: wonderstone? as i was unloading the box, i was like "omg! omg!" doing the happy dance all around the kitchen. this is what happens when hubby says "i don't know what to get you for your birthday".... thanks for looking, KD

#2 and #5 look like Imperial Jasper to ME. #8 looks like it could be Bronzite.. There appear to be a couple of Roostertail agate slabs. The slab right after the Montana sure looks like Woodward Ranch agate. The slab right before the Fluorite is Apache Sage Jasper (more of a Rhyolite) from the Mimbres Valley, New Mexico.

Those are some very nice slabs. I look forward to seeing what you make with them. The last one could be wonderstone but it looks very close to a piece of mookite that I have.

Nice box of slabs KD. # 3 could be Burro Creek pastelite, maybe Angelite, or even Larimar. Got any cabs cut yet?
