The hardness is a 5 so it is easy to work on a grinder but to soft to use in a tumbler

Is that the stuff you self collect? Very nice. I like the triangular one with the arcs that radiate out. That is one nice group of cabs.

My friend mines Travertine and the onyx is burried with the travertine. They try to save me the good gem quality pieces and I trade for landscape work. I need to go get more soon.
