I figured it was time to prove again that I actually do things with the rocks that follow me home. Autumn Jasper - Can't figure out which way is more appealing: Belvade Jasper - kinda dark in the picture: Mel's Cosmos Jasper (or is it firefly?) Dino Bone: Re-worked Graveyard Plume (one of my first cabs revisited): Green Moss: Mex Lace: Something from the Bay of Fundy area - only one out of all the rocks my friend brought back that polished: Boring slab of Picture Jasper - can't decide which way I like it better: Polish Flint - reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe: No idea - it was a crumb in my slab drawer: Willow Creek: Woodwards: And last - an OJ that objected and went all druzy on me:

Not a chance to get us bored with those beauties!
Very hard to pick a favorite. The Polish flint, the Willow creek and the first WWR caught my eye. Not a clue about the orientation of the first one, but I would set the picture jasper with the point downwards (resembling to a tie).

I keep thinking of the Matrix when I look at the first one. Very cool. Really like the boring PJ... it is very entertaining to look at. And the flint is particularly nice!! Tony

Oh boy...what a bunch of goodies there! I have a few top choices...Dino Bone, Mex. Lace, Polish Flint, and Graveyard Plume. My very, very fav is that Willow Creek! I like the little slice that looks inlaid in that cab. Fav Shape is the Dino Bone. All a bunch of nice cabs. Steve

Ooh! My favs are the flint, the crazy lace ( always a favorite with me) and the first Woodward plume ( man that's deep red agate in that one!). I think that poppy is from the firefly vein but it could be from the pit across from the ole stinky horse hole. Both those digs have those pink spots. The Cosmos Jasper is usually white on deep purple or red...Mel

Bored? I think not! It's about time you posted some cabs. All are excellent, but the WWR agates are making me wish it was March!

Every single one is stunning. That Mexican Crazy Lace is gorgeous! Love the first stone, second pic of it. Kind of like a sunset with a ledge or partial side view of a steep mountain side.

Thanks guys! A couple of these are sitting in my to-be-wrapped-next pile already. As to how long, I'm not quite sure. I preform (outline the shape complete through the 600 wheel) large batches and then just work from there. I try to keep my 80 dop sticks full so I have my choice of what I want to cab, but you occasionally have to rush one through. From there, it takes about 4 hours total (generally split between two nights) to do about 15 cabs. Obviously the calibrated cabs take longer, as they're actually planned. Those get planned while I watch the few shows I keep track of - it's either that or I sit and wrap instead.

Wow Ronda those are fantastic!!!! That dino bone is an interesting color. Your graveyard almost looks like calico, haven't seen one like that before. Love the green moss and that polish flint is crazy, I see the O'Keefe in it. I think my fav is the crumb from your slab drawer.
