Those are so cool. So many different kinds and they all tumbled well together.

Very nice variety and what a shine! Thanks for sharing. Do you think that if those were tumbled instead of in a vibe the shape/shine would have been the same? Just curious, Thanks. Don

Beautiful batch. The color contrast is absolutely amazing. Where did you find the brazilian jasper? I've never been able to get my hands on some of that stuff. I have some agates from brazil, but not jaspers.
Let me know and thanks for sharing.

Ebay sellers Astrogallery and Roughsale sell alot of stuff out of Brazil, that's who I get all of mine from. Today I cut up some black and red jasper, tiger cobra jasper, fancy jasper, and red and pink swirl jasper, all from Brazil.

I use Hughes 330 epoxy, it's a two-part epoxy that's VERY strong. I wouldn't use anything else. Bernies sells it..... www.bernieslapidary.com

navi- I haven't had one fall off yet. In fact, it's a challenge trying to pull one off with pliers. rockwolf- I got my Montanas from Ebay. There's some on there now, do an ebay search for "Montana agate rough".

I'll just stick with getting my rough rocks from India, it's loads cheaper, but you do have to wait 4 - 6 weeks for it to arrive

Thank you both! Currently awaiting a reponse from an ebayer in the USA as regards shipping cost to the UK. Will also have a look with Google to see what's out there and failing that, I'll just be patient and see what's about at the next mineral show!

Rockwolf,
As Jack says "flat rate boxes" are the way to go 19lbs in a box and about £27 to ship it, so as long as your rocks aren't to expensive you'd be looking at £60 to £65 total per box. If I could buy by the container load I would. How many rocks is that. Ahh daydreams.
All you have to do is have a look at what some of the online sellers in the UK sell their products for then have a look at ebay to give you an idea of how much money you could save, and you can always ask here.
Catmandew has a few tons of rock hanging around, so does desertdweller and michaeljohn does a very good deal, I think I'll be ordering some willow creek off catmandew but that'll be after Christmas. The exchange rate isn't the best at the moment but you can still get a good deal.
