They sure do have a beautiful shine and the variety is great. I couldn't see any junk in this batch maybe the shine is blinding me.

How long does the whole process take you for a load?

I can do a load in about seven days if I stay on it. This load took two weeks because I was in and out of town working. Vibratory tumblers have to be monitored constantly, the lid has to come off at least three times a day. If the load runs too dry, the rocks will stop moving, and the grindind action will cut grooves in them. When they slow down, I get them moving again with a spray bottle full of water. Two or three sprays is all it takes to get them moving again.

Great batch, randy! Nice shine and I love the variety. What do you mean by biker pendant? I can make a guess but I'm hoping you'll fill in the details.

Randy, what are tumble scraps? They look every bit as pretty as the others.

The tumble scraps are the left-over slabs after I cut the pendants and cabs from them.

Nice load. They came out great. Looks like some of them have some good size to them too. I really like the Montana agates. And yes, I like the variety.

Yeah, Randy, I figured a Harley was more likely than a bicycle. :-) Can I see some of the finished pendants?

You got almost every rock in that batch! The Montana agate is my favorite.

Superb variety there! What type are the slightly translucent ones with black inclusions please? (And yes, nice bike!)

Thanks! Those are Montana moss agates, they're the coolest stuff to make cabs from. Funny thing, I found a large chunk of it in my scrap pile the other day. I don't remember putting it there, but I sure took it back out! ;D
