Thanks to the advice from you folks I have been able to tumble highly polished glass that I incorporated into a piece of artwork that received much acclaim during a showing today. I am indebted to you. Thank you LJ Adam AwakesI am still trying to find the technique of photographing this kind of work in a flattering way.

Thank you for your kind words.
The most time consuming part was the tumbling as it was largly trial and error ending with suggestions from the forum that wrapped it up nicely, about 2 months. From the time I started on the piece to framing 30 hours 24 of which were curing time.
The big advantage in using tumbled glass from an economy point of view is that less resin is used. Since the price of oil has risen it has gone through the roof.
The size is 41cm x 51cm

You might try photograping it on a light box. Cool art! Thanks for showing it.

That is incredably beautiful! It is sooo sunny and happy. Did someone teach you how to do this or are you self taught? Thank you for sharing.
