Hi Folks,
I recently received an email about the last San Jose Rock and Gem club Rock Sale:
The last rock sale of 2008. We have had a new donation, and we offer it to you. As usual, we will have Free rocks under the pergola.
Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 9am till noon. 2357 Loma Park Court San Jose, CA 95124
We have a lot of big rocks, a few slabs, and all the tables are full of rocks.
Price: 50 cents per pound. If your big rock weighs more than 10 pounds, don't worry. We've set a $5 cap on the individual big rocks.

BTW All, These sales that the Santa Clara Valley Gem & Mineral Society hosts: I've been to nearly all of them for the past two years. They really are not worth attending, the rock selection is awful the prices no good, etc. etc. And if you plan to go, please wait until at least 11A Ok? Just so I can beat you there ;D . . . . . Seriously though - they usually have some fantastic material. If you are anywhere near the area you should make an attempt to visit these. They are open to ALL the public (they advertise on Craigslist also) not just club members.

Dean, you almost got me. I was thinking that you must have arrived after Stoner and I got through the boxes. We usually each pick up a 5 gallon bucket or so. I bet I must have pushed you out of the way at one of the sales LOL.
One reason for listing the sale is that I will be out of town that weekend!
