My wife and I along with Jason and John from here on the forum went on a field trip to the Beacon Hill claim in Western Idaho. It is a claim that is owned by the Boise rock club, and has very limited access. We dug there for quite a while, but didn't do as good as we had hoped. My wife, Chris, did find one nice nodule, and I cut it open today. Here are a few pics. Nodule with an orange to compare it to, taken inside with flash ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/101_0420Medium.jpg) 2 halves, taken inside with flash ![](http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z229/catmandewe/101_0422Medium.jpg) Chris and I got a little more than a 5 gallon bucket full of mostly very small material, this one was the largest, but what a fantastic view it was!!!! I forgot to take my camera, so Jason will have to provide the view shots. Thanks for looking.................Tony

If that's all you brought home, I'd say you had a great day. Cool agate.

Beautiful inside of that nodule! The scenery was magnifucent, fully balancing the poor haul you had. Besides, it seems someone above is taking care of your yard, not to be too loaded with rocks! ;D
