Last week Jason called me and said he had seen a big saw for sale on Craigslist for a really reasonable price, so I called the guy and went and looked at it. It was a 36 incher in need of some work, but that is kind of what I like to do is fix stuff and save the cashola for other things, (like rock!) so he and I came to an agreement and I gave him a check and told him I would come back and pick up the saw when my pickup got out of the shop.
Well my pickup is still in the shop, and I really wanted to go get Big Mo, so I borrowed a pickup from my father-in-law, went and got my trusty old snowmobile trailer, and my wife and I headed up to get the saw.
I used a come-along to pull the saw up on the trailer, and we got her secured down firmly, then we got to looking at John's rockpile, and I must tell you I was truly impressed, what a collection!!
I did end up buying some rock from him, and I think I will probably go back and buy some more in the near future. (You know the trailer was lopsided with that big saw on one side, so we needed ballast to balance the load out!)
Well enough of the commentary, here is a couple shots of Big Mo on the trailer.

And some of what he called "green jasper", he said it takes a really good shine, but he is not really sure where it came from.
