Does anyone have info and/or experience with the MK 170 tile saw? I have a chance to pick a used one up for about $70. How does it compare to the work force? I'm suppose to check it out in about an hour and would greatly appreciate any first hand experience about it.
How does it compare to the workforce? is it a better machine.
Thanks for any info.

I don't know anything about the MK. I have a WF and have used and abused it for almost a year and that darn thing just keeps on chugging. Sorry I can't help. Curt

Thanks Curt, I love my wf but I think it is on its way out (after use and abuse). If the MK is a step up, I thought I would grab it. Just seeing if anyone here has used one.

Thanks Chuck, I think it is worth the 1/2 drive to check it out. Thanks both for your input.

The people who use these saws for a LIVING will overwhelmingly chose an MK over a workforce every day. Nothing wrong with a workforce, I have one myself, it is just not a professional quality machine. Ifyou can ge the Mk for $70. jump on it. Doug

I spent too much time on the computer doing a mad research on the thing. should have gone when the going was good. I was way-layed and had to take care of some things. I'll have to call him back tomorrow. Hopefully he'll still have it.
Thanks for all the positive input. Keeping my fingers crossed.
