Hoowdy folks ,
My roommate is headed to the Cape this week and she was wondering if there are any rocks to be had in the area. Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just wondering if you found anything. I have not heard of anything except Cockles, Mussels, Clam and Oyster Shells, and, of course, the ubiquitous granite csroc

This reply is a wee bit late, but weird material turns up on the beaches after storms, the source of which is most likely ships ballast. Years back, when of course I had no interest in rocks, the dredge material from Nantucket town harbor turned up all kinds of rock that certainly did not originate locally. Woody
