That red one almost looks like a Brazilian...wonder if someone from Richardson dropped that one on the river somewhere ;D ;D
Anyhow...excellent finds. Can share how you polished the one side? I have a lot of bigger pieces that I want to do the same to, but I don't have a clue how to do that.

I find a semi-flat face where pattern is showing and start with a 100 grit diamond wheel...grind it flat and dome it, then go to the 180 diamond wheel, take out the deep 100 grit scratches...then go to 220 wet belt sander on an expanding drum, then to 400, then 600, then 1200, then polish. It's like making a big cab you can hold in your hands instead of on a dop stick.

Those tumble are beautiful! There's slim pickins in my area but I always find something good on the beach so I really love natural tumbles and you did a great job bringing out their inner beauty.

I agree! Seeing a before & after shot is great! Must try to remember to get into the habit of taking 'before' photos!!

It is just too bad that I never knew to look for beautiful rocks way back when I lived in Beaverton...Missed opportunities. Those really look like nice end polishes. Fran
