I like freeforms, well with being new, I grind everything down to nothing, I think it looks great.

KD, you did an excellent job on the free forum. Have to remember there is no basic shape or form to follow. Keep up the great cabbin (free-foruming).

Thats a beautiful shine and I like the shape. You also did a great job capturing the flash of blue and the pattern in that stone.

KD: "why i suck at freeforms"
Yea, maybe at freeforms, but that's not a freeform, it's a triangle! ;D And it's great!

You got a really nice shine on that and the shape is certainly pleasing. Nice job.

I often feel that way about all cabs I make. Once in a while I will get one done just right then it is back to making junk for for while. I often salvage the cabs I don't like by tumbling them. Maybe with practice we will get better and not need the tumber to finish them. By the way, this cab looks good. Nice job.

Oh, this is a very pretty piece! When I tried to cab Labridorite, I didn't get any fire in it...I must of ground it all out. You did a great job! Fran

Nice job, Krazy! I think the shape came out great! LOVE the life you captured in the stone, too.

Kd, you should title it "why I'm going to start doing a lot more freeforms". Tony

Looks good! I'd suggest you try cutting it flat, instead of a dome, best way to go with labradorite/spectrolite and less work too. Done right, the primo stuff from Finland is unbelievable.
