Those look great and the tutorial is great too. I tried using a dremil to make holes and THAT took forever - Great shine too.
Welcome aboard, I can,t wait to see more of your work!

Whats the hardness of the slabs you work. Most folks working agate or jasper with a Dremel have ended up throwing away the Dremel. I do manage to drill a few holes for bails though.

Sweeet set of cabs! I'm impressed that these were all done with just a dremel. I was so intrigued I had to check out the file. Nice tutorial....and I especially like that peace sign. My daughter would love something like that. Looking forward to more cabs. Steve

Those cabs look great. I checked out your tutorial. Amazing that you polish these by hands. Thanks for the link.

A dremel does open up a lot of shape possibilities, such as concave curves. I tried drilling holes with a dremel and gave up, it takes forever in a hard material like agate.

Wow, I want to check that out, I am debating buying a machine for here, since I only get visation with the cab machine every 2 weeks, this would give me something to try in between visits, and be fun as well, thank you for sharing,

Looks like fun! That reconstituted stuff must be pretty soft huh? It is harder than you think, sounds and feels like a rock. Haven't checked the hardness of it.

Like to see some real domed cabs ;D Unfortunately, I didn't have the slabs cut thick enough to make them. I was originally going to make slab cabs as inlays for some jewelry projects.
