just got a cheap hobby tumbler today for $9. Looking forward to seeing how the egg-shaped piece of granite I found on the ground turns out. Makes a helluva noise, doesn't it?
Anyway, my name's Mike, I'm 35 and I'm hoping this'll turn into a new hobby for me.
later!

Hi, Error, and welcome! I hope the egg shaped granite pebble does not tumble alone in your tumbler. It needs some company. Adrian

Error, you should go to www.rocktumblinghobby.com/ and right there you will find a good tutorial about tumbling (scroll down a bit untill you find the white table). Adrian PS. Roxy, how did you figure out that Error's name is Mike? Are you shure it's not an error? ;D

So was I! I got to the craft store with the intent on buying some spray paint for another hobby and say the rock tumblers on a shelf and the tag said $9. I asked the clerk if that was correct. She scanned it with her gun and sure enough, $9.
