That coarse grit stuff looks very familiar. I can't put my finger on it. Seems like something I could buy outright instead of mail-order.

Hmmmm, are you talking about sand blasting media? Seems like that question was brought up before, and if I remember correctly, glass media is too soft as glass is only a 3 (I think?) on the MOH scale. The grit must be harder than the rocks in order to break them down. Most of the stuff that we tumble here are between 6 and 8.5.
