Howdy folks, Just a single pic of the flint I collected in my yard to polish for the school kids. Not real colorful but it looks like it's going to work up pretty well. Some does have a strange flowering or breccia type effect maybe from some kid of fossil replacement. This has had two weeks in coarse grind 60/90 in the QT12 and will probably need at least two more before I move it on to fine grind. Thanks for looking.....Mel

It sure looks like that flint will turn out great! I haven't tried any of my flint yet...I have tried to break some of it up and it hasn't budged. I am looking forward to seeing the end results Fran

The kids are going to love it. The cool thing about kids, they don't care what the rock is, just that it is cool looking so your batch is going to be a big hit.

Nice back yard! I can't help but notice that you don't publish your location. :-) Please follow up when they are done so we can see how they ame out. It's very cool of you to do that for the kids.
