Hi, everyone! Here is a jasper that I picked a while ago from a riverbed near Bucharest. I polished it basically on its natural surfaces, making small corrections and a few edges. A close-up: . I treated those jaspers with pretty much indifference till now, looking mostly for pet woods when I went on that river, but from now on I am going to pick them, too. Thank you for looking, Adrian

Gosh Adrian, that is one beautiful specimen and I can't imagine how long it took to polish it all up like that. Thanks for the pictures as I don't often get to see finds from your part of the world. Getting to see pictures of finds made by other folks in other places is one of the coolest things about this site!.....mel

Beautiful jasper. It is smart to start collecting the jasper along with the pet wood.

I can see why you want to collect that jasper, its really pretty. Man it must take you a long time to grind and polish a rock that size. Nice work.

Thank you everyone! The grinding of the rock from its natural shape to what you see took me about 3 hours. Despite apparences, the natural shape was not very far from the final one.
