Went to a GemStreet show in Hamburg NY today. Got a few pieces of shattuckite rough and these slabs. Paid $2 apiece for them- From top left clockwise - maybe a moss agate, idonno, common opal, pet wood, common opal, blood stone, idonno. A real close-up of the upper left rock center top top right right center right bottom bottom center bottom left

Top middle is leopardskin jasper, probably from Chihuahua, Mexico.
Dunno bout the other Idunno cept it's brecciated - broken/fractured pieces of rock that re-formed/re-cemented itself.

Nice slabs for a great price. I especially like the breccia which looks like some of the stuff I used to get in the central California coast range....Mel

Nice score Lee. The leopardskin is soft and hard for me to polish. I've seen others that have great success, though.

i have the same slab in my flickr, i was told they are leopard skin and brecciated

Tony - could be serpentine, it's a really dark green - that closeup is a backlit shot - I had the slab touching the lens - surprised it came out as good as it did.
