Pink, red, white and black agate are the most common colors found in these thundereggs that can show beautiful fortification banding. What the outside looks like:

Thanks Rich, I think I have a few of those. I'll have to find them and compare with your pic. I know they were strange looking to me, and I tried slicing one like regular agate; slab by slab. I was not impressed after a few slices. lol I'll have to find them and cut them in half. Thanks again, Daniel

Wow Rich!
That is a staggering Agate, the colours there are great - particularly the bright red flashes. I particularly like the dark black feature running at 10 o'clock, looks like a formation tube of escape. The surrounding matrix has those funky little agate flashes in 'em too, that's a truly beautiful example and a photo I shall enjoy seeing again and again - saved to my "Digital Agate Eye-candy" folder ;D He he he he! Thanks for sharing your stash, what a prime specimen! Textbook stuff! Did you polish it up yourself?
