The Amero as it now exists are private-issue fantasy pattern coins available here. www.dc-coin.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=8The concept for an actual Amreo was where Designs Computed got the idea. I would recommend this link for more on this potential threat to our sovereignty. www.amerocurrency.com/intro.htmlAs this site says, "The concept of The brain trusts behind the philosophies that laid the groundwork for the program, in its current and future forms, elaborate a broader view of economics and "sovereignty" that also redistribute economic and legislative powers." For this to work, our economic system would have to be brought down. Gee, that couldn't happen here... Another quote; "From these mindsets, and more data available through this site, emerges the concept of the "Amero," an international currency whereby the American monetary system and our treasury system become homogeneous with those of Mexico and Canada." This is of great concern to those who feel we are headed for a system that will enable the globalism of this continent. Some would say this is why we are not enforcing border laws, and are being prepared incrementally for assimilation. The proponents that favor this concept in range from human rights activists to elite Capitalists Others dismiss this as just another example of Anti-Socialist fear-mongering

Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America is a region-level dialogue with the stated purpose of providing greater cooperation on security and economic issues. The Partnership was founded in Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005 by Paul Martin, Prime Minister of Canada, Vicente Fox, President of Mexico, and George W. Bush, President of the United States."President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy." - Conservative journalist, Jerome R. Corsi Thanks for the laugh.... Dan

Can anyone say... One world Order! Or .. " Novus ordo seclorum"? .. you should .. it's on all our MONEY!!!
and from what I hear .. it's Latin for "New Order of the Ages" first designed in 1782 and printed on the back of the American dollar bill since 1935. The phrase also appears on the coat of arms of the YALE School of Management, YALE University's business school...and I'm sure it's probably in alot of RELIGIONS .. but they just don't pay attention during their brainwashing services.. lol
Either way it's coming.. no matter what we do.. who we elect. the outcome will be the same.. I sure think I had this conversation before.. maybe it's just Dajavu... But some call him the president.. some call him the anti-christ.. and some call him the beginning of the end.. me I just call him Bush.. LOL.. well Obama I'm sure will also be brainwashed before not to long .. already it looks like the only way out of this crisis is to call on Global help.. which will "pave the way" for the NEW CHANGE....
if you know what I mean...
Sad to know , but it's coming! so hang on to your GOLD.. don't panic.. And watch the sky. lol the fireworks are on the way.. I'm almost sure of it..
PEACE AMERICA!!!!!!
*smiles*

blarneystone, I see I need to point out that I did not say that this is a left-only plan, As I have stated in previous posts on this site, I am not even a Republican, and that I believe both sides are taking us to the same end, one via NATO the other via the UN. Your assumptions of me being a blind follower of anyone is inaccurate. Bush has done a poor job on border security, has outspent the Democrats at times, and is indeed a globalist who is pushing us into the NWO did his father and every president we have had for some time.
My ideology is based on the constitution and limited government. At present the right does not espouse a socialist agenda, and is strong on defense, hence I vote conservative. I held my nose while voting for McCain as he was the only option I had. I do believe the left seeks a fast track in the directions I oppose. So, laugh all you want. I am a Conservative, that does not mean that I support Republicans down the line. You seem to wish to stereotype me, perhaps I am guilty of the same, are you a free thinker, or do you blindly support the left?

I agree. The left seems to think we think Bush is the greatest thing since Christ. Bush made many mistakes. I have screamed constantly about his border policies. He should have put enough men and material in Iraq to do the job and get it over with. There are many, many things he did wrong. But the liberals ideas are so different than mine that I cannot even comprehend voting for any Democrat. If the Democrats change, or the Rupublicans change, so shall I.

My ideology is based on the constitution and limited government. That pretty well lines up with my beliefs on the matter as well. At present the right does not espouse a socialist agenda, Ahem, um now I don't want to say the left isn't riding along with this, but it seems to me this whole financial bailout BS is even worse than a socialist agenda- it is outright theft at a scale so grand that everyone seems to think its OK. Left, Right, it doesn't seem to make any difference- this country is headed to hell in a handbasket as long as corporate greed is the prevailing motivation, and the super rich continue to get their way. But new North American currency might be the only way to avoid the Argentinian-style hyperinflation that pumping out all these trillions of dollars is likely to precipitate.

rallyrocks, I am with you on the bailouts, both right and left seen determined to dig us into a deeper hole. All these companies should go bankrupt. Bankruptcy does not always mean the end. Many airlines have been through it and they still exist. It would allow the renegotiating of their debts and contracts. I believe that a common currency is a bad idea, as do the Canadians. My opinion is that it would have a profoundly poor effect on the prices of consumer goods and wages. Mexico would be the only entity that would have a benefit.

Yes these companies certainly SHOULD be going backrupt, but they aren't, instead they are being "loaned" unimaginable amounts of money, which I have little doubt will keep all of the executives in champagne and private jets until the bills come due at which point they probably will declare bankruptcy.
But in a year or so I won't be surprised if the peso is worth more than the dollar, in which case we would benefit from an Amero- even if the Canadians don't like it, -what are they gonna do? go to war over it?
Time will tell....

Speaking of dismal failures, what happened to the Bobcats last week?

An old Montana tradition, the Missoula Grizzlies stomp the Bozeman Bobcats... I gave up being a sports fan years ago as I have too many "hands on" hobbies to be a spectator. Also after reading the works of Desmond Morris I decided that "tribal rituals" are not my style... I am more of a lone wolf.

Actually me too, but being an old MSU alum, I occasionally get these Alma Matter blues- especially when the trouncing is that bad.
Kind of makes me glad I'm not really a sports fan

As most players on teams now of days are imported/recruited only to play ball... and they are not much known for their social graces, nothing to get inspired over.
