I had bought a 19" I-Inc from Tiger Direct , it died after 6 months , sent it out for repairs , and now 6 months later and its dead again . I'm waiting for my money back so I can buy the Acer 22" I'm glad to see someone likes it , even with the good/great reviews . hopefully I will get the check this coming week so I can order it and have it before Christmas. I really liked the 3yr I'm glad I bought the extended warranty on the I-inc I will never buy that brand again

i was using a flat screen CRT i think its called and it was like 17 inch this wide screen puts it to shame, but the CRT is so dam big and bulky and its time to save some room , the CRT always had a good pic thats why i never upgraded i fig its workin haha -- but i got a friend here that don't have a working computer so i fig id clean the old one up and give it to her it still works fine,, i fig out why it was runnin hot the in side was never cleaned right and every nook and cranny is full of dirt so I'm gonna get in there with the vacuum with brush on it and get out what ever i can maybe she can get acouple more years outta it

It would be better to use some compressed air and blow it out ,, you could take a chance of scratching the boards if you use a brush ... computers really should be cleaned about once a month , as heat is they'r biggest enemy.

its my fault for not takin care of it, when i was lookin around in there i even noticed the fan blades had a layer of dust stuck to them so im sure its running slower from the weight and the rough surface is prob not cutting the air clean so its prob like its not even workin it has been workin every day for about 6 years haha im suprized it lasted that long with no maint,
i watched a dvd on the new monitor last nite (sahara) and it looked great im real happy with it . .

Sands, I really like the 19" flat screen. It has 2 speakers built in the bottom of the screen. It is on a stand that will raise 10" high also.

you may want to check out www.tigerdirect.com or even www.newegg.com I build alot of systems and these are the only places I deal with now. On the few times that I have had to return things there have been little to no problems. I REALLY cant wait to get the new monitor I am uses an old crt 17" that I have had for years an years the color is WAY off but it does work lol one of the reasons I havent posted and stones , I cant tell if the colors are right lol Dennis

Monitor resolution is determined by your video card, like wolfden suggested. To get a higher resolution, you would need a new video card that supported that resolution. You wouldn't necessarily need the SLI or Crossfire set up, just one video card with a higher resolution would do it.
